Why is Nobody Talking About Brain Health?

In a world with conversations about physical fitness, trendy diets, and mental well-being, it’s astonishing how little attention is given to brain health. 🧠

Why aren’t we talking about it more?

If I asked you how healthy your brain was, would you know?

Most women I speak to say they haven’t got a clue how healthy their brain is!

Our brain—our command centre—deserves just as much, if not more, attention than the rest of our body.

I believe it is time to shine a light on the importance of brain health, prevent the signs of decline, and take proactive steps to nurture this vital organ.

My mission is to stop women developing the symptoms of brain decline, by sharing the strategies and knowledge they need to keep a healthy brain. 🧠

And the great thing is, it isn’t rocket science! 🚀

Yes, it takes some will power, some encouragement from me and possibly adopting some new thinking patterns and behaviours, but looking after our own brain is much easier than we thought.

From my own personal experience, the horror of Alzheimer’s disease is not something I would ever wish on anyone.

Let’s get real for a minute and look at the statistics

According to Alzheimer’s Research UK, dementia was the leading cause of death in the UK in 2022 – yes you read that right. The LEADING cause of death in the UK.

I bet you didn’t know that.

Just over 65,000 people, a large percentage of them women, died from dementia in 2022.

That is 65,000 mums, grandmas, sisters, aunties, cousins, daughters lost to this awful disease.

Does that shock you or surprise you?

Do you see now why this is such an important issue for women?
